Torri’s Legal Services Receives Financial Services Compliance Certification from NAPPS

financial service compliance accreditationThe team at Torri’s Legal Services recently received a Financial Services Compliance (FSC) certification from the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS).

Following an application process that ensures compliance with the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct, Torri’s Legal Services joins a select group of NAPPS members with this designation.

FSC Certification grew out of the legal community’s increasing demand for compliance expectations from the companies with whom they do business. Banks, credit unions, and other financial services businesses require that all the law firms they work with comply with strict vendor management practices.

Process servers who have received FSC Certification are able to show up front that they have met these strict requirements and can be trusted with serving process for financial institutions.

As part of its application, Torri’s Legal Services had to prove they have in place a variety of policies, including:

  • Code of Conduct Policy for employees
  • Disaster Recovery Plan, also known as a Business Continuity Plan
  • Vendor Management Policy
  • Visitor Sign-In Policy
  • Document Retention and Destruction Policy
  • Information Security Policy
  • User Access Policy
  • Password Policy for computers in the office
  • Case Management Software Policy
  • Access Control Policy
  • Third-Party Mobile Computer Policy
  • Removable Media Policy
  • Wireless Use Policy
  • Antivirus Policy
  • Data Management Policy
  • Incident Response Policy

We at Torri’s Legal Services look forward to continuing to provide our clients with the highest-quality legal services now and in the future. Our FSC Certification from NAPPS is just one of the many ways we work hard to continually improve our services.
