Torri’s Legal Services Works Directly with Court Reporters
At Torri’s Legal Services, we pride ourselves on working to meet the unique needs of our clients, whoever they may be. Whether you are an attorney, paralegal, real estate firm, an individual, or any other type of client with process serving needs, our goal is always to provide excellent services catered to the particular requirements of your matter. When it comes to working with court reporters, this philosophy is no different.
As an example, here is a recent testimonial from Chris Hanwell of Cady Reporting Services, Inc:
Hi Torri,
I just wanted to send you and your staff a quick Thank You. What you were able to accomplish yesterday was practically a miracle. Your server had to go to 2 different addresses for the U.S. Department of Justice within a very tight window of time, and the documents were served with time to spare.
You came highly recommended and your firm didn’t disappoint. The service and professionalism that I experienced from you and your crew was spectacular! I won’t hesitate to use your firm again in the future and I will definitely recommend you for any process service needs that I have in the D.C. area.

This is just one example of Torri’s Legal Services going above and beyond for our clients.
In another recent matter, we were contacted by a new client who had received a referral to our company from another court reporter. The client sent us subpoenas to be issued out of Prince George’s County while the business to be served was located in Anne Arundel County. The client was insistent that the subpoena be issued from Prince George’s County. Knowing that the possibility existed that the subpoena could not be issued from that county, we headed to the courthouse immediately allotting ourselves extra time knowing the subpoena may need to be issued from another location. When the court was not able to issue the subpoena, we informed the client, who simply asked that we do whatever it would take to get the subpoena issued and served. We were then able to head to Anne Arundel County, have the subpoena issued, locate the correct business address, and complete the service in Baltimore all within a 48 hour period and to the satisfaction of our client.
Going above and beyond is just part of who we are as a company.
For court reporters who need to work within tight timeframes, our goal is always to go that extra mile. When it comes to having subpoenas domesticated, multiple addresses served in multiple counties, or working on a tight deadline to get to the courthouse or a U.S. Department of Justice location before close, we at Torri’s Legal Services are committed to taking the extra step and working with our clients to make sure your documents are served within your required deadlines.
“We’re familiar with all of the jurisdictions in our area and what the process is. We’ll get the documents domesticated and then serve them immediately,” owner Torri Schaffer says. “We go the extra mile all the time. That’s what we do.”
